My Homes palette

My Homes palette. I had the idea to make a quad for each of the states I've lived in. And I love how it came together.

It's not the prettiest all together, but I view it as 4 quads together in the palette.

1st Quad: Arizona.

I lived in Arizona from 1992-2012 and I couldn't have grown up in a better place. I chose a picture of an Arizona sunset because, in my experience, nowhere has sunsets as beautiful. At least not in the same way. I may never live in AZ again, who knows, but it will probably always be the place I feel I know best.

2nd Quad: Idaho

I lived in Idaho from 2012-2017. My feelings for ID were a rollercoaster of highs and lows. My husband and I moved there 2 weeks after getting married. It has our first homes, first time living in a place that snows for both of us, and two of our kids were born there. It has the best summers and the worst winters. But it's beautiful and we met so many amazing, kind people there. Plus, my brothers met their wives there and I love them so much!

3rd Quad: California

We lived in a small town in CA from 2012-2019. I never wanted to move there. It's as hot as AZ with none of the good parts. Moving there was really hard for me, but it was a sacrifice we needed to make for my husband's career. I did make some amazing friends, got to know and appreciate some of my husband's family better, and we had our sweet little girl while we were there. I couldn't find any pretty pictures of the town we lived in, so I used one I took of my daughter while we were there.

4th Quad: Tennessee

2019-present. I can't say enough good things about TN. Where we live has big city amenities with a somewhat small-town feel. It's absolutely beautiful. The people are amazing. And the weather is just about as close to perfect as you can get (in my opinion). We are almost positive we will have to leave TN when my husband is done with grad school (though if I could convince my siblings to move over here, it may be a different story), but I will always have a huge place in my heart for TN. It just feels like home in so many ways. And I had to represent the Vols - not only is it a big part of our lives, but it's a big part of this town.

And here are some wrap-up pictures along with the shade names.
