I made this palette before I saw the movie, so keep in mind, the colors are based on things I saw in the trailer and what I know about Cruella in general. (Someone asked me why the green is in there - it's for the green dress that she is standing next to and The Baroness cuts the sleeves off).
Anyways, Cruella is my favorite villain and Emma Stone is one of my favorite actresses... I love Emma Thompson as well. I was so excited for the movie!
I just have to say though, because I know some people question why Cruella is my favorite; I don't love that she's a puppy-killer, but there's something about her (mostly from the live-action 101 Dalmations, not the cartoon). And I don't think she could have had a redemption movie that worked. Which I know made some people hate the movie. So here's how I feel after seeing it.
I love the movie. I really do. But I look at it as a stand-alone movie. I think it's a great story line and was very well done, and to some degree explains why Cruella may be the way she is. But it wasn't ever going to redeem her or give a compelling explanation that would make people understand what she did and forgive it. And to be honest, it's not convincing that she would go from where they leave her at the end of the movie to what she becomes. But again, I view it as a stand-alone movie, so it works fine for me.
Anyways, that's my rant about the movie. I still love Cruella. I think it's mostly her attitude and the way she dresses. I don't know. Don't come at me. I can't explain it.
